This page is part of a personal experiment - and maybe also a gesture of hope.

In recent years, I’ve said goodbye to a few close friends whose presence continue to shape me even in their absence. But in this case, I think absence, while felt, is also the presence of an opening- for new connections, new stories, new life. 

So I suppose this project is an effort to honor that space - an invitation to myself and to you to be intentional about connections; to keep reaching out, even when it’s hard; to see if kindness, curiosity, and conversation might still find their way to you, wherever and whoever you are.

And for November, I’m trying something a bit out of my comfort zone. I'm putting up fliers that say: “New Friend Wanted.”

It’s part memorial, part social commentary, and likely a smidge of misplaced idealism...  but maybe - just maybe - it could be an act of connection and community-building, too.

And however this goes... I suppose, at the end of the day, I'm just glad that you exist and that you're here.
